Full disclosure: This resort is in Tornado Alley. While here we experienced a couple of storms that were a bit on the scary side. For reference we stayed here a total of 9 weeks during Tornado season and three severe storms. There is a very active railroad track nearby and I-35 borders the east side of the resort. admittedly we did get used to the noise from the trains and the interstate.
The resort itself is fairly flat with level gravel and grass sites. Every site is full hook up. There are 30 and 50 amp site. The water is drinkable. They have excellent laundry facilities with plenty of working machines. Showers are a bit dark but useable. Part has a recreation building and a decent gym. There is a small pool for resort users.
There are a fair share of “permanent” residents here. Many work for the the Casino. All of the permanent residents live along the borders of the resort. For the most part their trailers and motorhomes are well kept.
Park staff is extremely friendly and more than willing to assist you as you require.
The Resort is a part of Coast to Coast, Good Sam’s and Passport America. Reservations are required, but they will accommodate one night campers. Big Rigs are allowed.
